In Q4 2015 Evraz Dniepropetrovsk Iron and Steel Works named after Petrovsky increased steel semis output but decreased rolled metal production.
According to the company statement, semi-finished products output increased 2.84 times QoQ, to 178 thousand tons, while that of rolled metal fell by 44.8%, to 69 thousand tons. Carbon steel manufacture in October-December 2015 went up by 14.2%, to 276 thousand tons due to the overhaul of the blast furnace #3 and rolling mills.
In 2015 the works produced 1 million tons of steel, up by 2%, and 663 thousand tons of coke, down by 9.7%, all YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
