The Lviv region council has addressed the President, the Prime Minister and the minister of energy and coal industry warning them of the situation at the state enterprise Lvivugol.
The council asks the government to resume the program of state support to coal mining companies, partially cover coal prime cost and provide for 1 billion UAH for Lvivugol. To remove social pressure in the region and make Lvivugol operate under normal conditions the council asks the salary debts to miners for November-December 2015 to be cleared and some money provided for mine modernization.
