The Cabinet of Ministers plans to settle the matter of clearing salary debts to miners.

On January 12, Lvivugol miners blocked the road demanding their salaries to be paid. Other state miners were not paid in full either.

According to the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions of Ukraine salary debts situation at state mining companies is difficult with debts totaling some 450 million UAH.

Krasnoarmeyskugol miners (Donetsk region) haven’t been paid 10% of October, 60% of November and 100% of December 2015 salary, totaling 80 million UAH. At Selidovugol miners haven’t received 40% of October and 100% of December salaries (94 million UAH). The state owes 62 million UAH to Yuzhnodonbasskaya #1 miners and 10 million to Yuzhnodonbasskaya #3.

Lisichanskugol is expecting 15 million UAH for November-December 2015, Volynugol – 30 million UAH.

The largest debts are to Lvivugol miners – 140 million UAH, with 20 million more to Lviv Coal Company. (Ukrainian metal)
