In 2015 Donetsk region exports fell 2.4 times YoY. The region exported to 98 countries as opposed to 122 countries in 2014. Exports to European markets decreased by 38.3%.
According to the Chief Statistics Service of Donetsk region, Italy was the main importer of products with 21.6% of the total volume worth $674.6 million, down by 38.7% YoY. Exports to Russia fell 2 times valued at $500.7 million (16%). Turkey held the third place with $398.1 million (12.7%).
Revenues from ferrous metals exports totaled $2383.7 million, or 76.3% of the total volume, down 2.2 times YoY. Ferrous metals wares exports decreased 2.6 times. (Ukrainian metal)
