Poltava, Yuzhny, Central, Severny, Ingulets Mining and Processing Works, as well as Evraz Sukhaya Balka, Krivoy Rog Iron Ore Industrial Complex and Zaporozhye Iron Ore Industrial Complex have addressed the Prime-Minister Arseny Yatsenyuk, minister of economic development and trade Aivaras Abromavichus, minister of finances Natalia Yaresko, minister of infrastructure Andrei Pivovarsky and the chairman of the State Regulatory Service Ksenia Lyapina asking them to implement the moratorium on the railroad transportation tariffs rise.
They say the tariffs rise will increase their expenses, forcing them to lose export markets and decrease iron ore consumption by the local metal companies.
The companies believe railroad tariffs should be increased only after Ukrzaliznytsia is reorganized. (Ukrainian metal)
