The State Security Service and the State Fiscal Service have exposed a scheme to legalize coal, mined at the temporarily occupied territories.
A Mariupol company has submitted a tax form showing it had trading operations worth 1.5 billion UAH with a Donetsk airport state enterprises in autumn 2014.
At that time there was fighting there, and no trading activity was carried out. Officials could not appeal against the wittingly false data submitted by traders. As the result the company was able to create a tax credit worth over 230 million UAH and legalize products, including coal, imported from the occupied territories.
The State Security Service is trying to find out the organizers. (Ukrainian metal)
