The new long face with 1.2 million tons of coal has been opened at DTEK Ternovskoye Mine Group. This will provide the miners with 2 years of work and 6 Ukrainian thermal electric stations with fuel.
The miners will work below 500 meters. By the end of the year they plan to mine 100 thousand tons of coal.
So far DTEK Ternovskoye Mine Group has mined 3.4 million tons of coal of the 4 million-target for this year. (Ukrainian metal)
