In November all Metinvest companies have been excluded from the automatic VAT reimbursement.
Metinvest companies have already been excluded from the system before, but this is the first time, when all of them are excluded.
As of November 1, the state VAT debt to Metinvest totaled 2.33 billion UAH.
“We’ve become aware that none of our companies is in the list for automatic VAT reimbursement. If we don’t get it, we would have to stop operating. And this would lead to the halt of the whole metal industry in Ukraine and the firing of dozens of thousands of our employees. We call upon the State Fiscal Service, the Cabinet of Ministers and the President of Ukraine to prevent this situation and pay all debts to Metinvest”, said the company CEO Yuri Ryzhenkov.
