In the third quarter of 2015 Ukrainian companies of Evraz produced 133 thousand tons of coke, down by 29.6% QoQ. Evraz accuses Ukrainian metal companies of low demand for its coke.
Due to the same reasons coke output in 9 months decreased by 1.9%, to 531 million tons.
Steel semi-finished products output in Q3 fell by 53%, to 63 thousand tons. This fall was the result of the Dniepropetrovsk Iron and Steel Works named after Petrovsky blast furnace #3 planned overhaul. At the same time, structural steel output went up by 48.1%, to 117 thousand tons due to the increased seasonal demand and the rise of deliveries to Ukrainian, Russian and European markets.
Evraz expects the carbon steel and metal wares output to increase in Q4. (Ukrainian metal)
