Zaporozhye Titanium and Magnesium Works, a part of Group DF, has passed the certification audit for the compliance with the aerospace standards.

The quality management audit according to EN 9100:2009, carried out by Bureau Veritas, has been passed, said the Group in its statement.

This will allow the company to register in the OASIS aerospace products suppliers. This could take up to 2 months.

ZTMK started preparing for the certification in March 2014. Since then it has developed 16 new standards and reviewed 70 existing ones.

Within the program of bringing ZTMK to the market of aerospace products, Group DF has invested 19.5 million UAH into the construction of the spongy titanium averaging complex. This complex will allow producing a higher quality sponge.

According to Group DF, the world market consumes 160-170 tons of spongy titanium per year worth $1.5-2 billion. (Ukrainian metal)
