Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works named after F. Dzerzhinsky plans to have repaired its blast furnace #12 by December.

“We’re preparing the blast furnace #12 for a long capital repair. It has been working for 30 years without an overhaul, and we believe the furnace might be completely worn out. Our goal is to complete all the large repairs by winter, and in the first 10 days of December at the latest to work full time, reaching projected capacities and above”, said the company in its statement.

The overhaul was to be completed in 54 days, but the shareholders and the Industrial Union of Donbass insisted on 48 days. (Ukrainian metal)
