Zaporizhstal denies the information of the armed people take of the Zaporozhye city council grounds of the slag wastes in Markusova gorge and its illegal exploitation.
Zaporizhstal declares that it protects the ground on the order of the city council. The company also informed there were no trespassers on the site and no illegal works carried out.
At the same time Zaporozhye city council has asked the Ministry for Internal Affairs to check this information, as it cannot confirm the agreement with the works to protect the grounds. (Ukrainian metal)
