In July Ukraine (without the temporary occupied Crimea and a part of the Anti-terrorist operation zone) produced 888 thousand tons of steel (without continuous casting semi-finished products), down by 20% YoY.
According to the State Statistics Service, steel output wet down by 5.2% MoM.
In January-July Ukraine produced 6.36 million tons of steel.
Pig iron manufacture in July decreased by 18.2% YoY and by 5.2% MoM, to 1.83 million tons. In January-July Ukraine produced 12.02 million tons of pig iron, down by 27.6% YoY.
Ferrous rolled metal manufacture in July fell by 25% YoY, but increased by 8.9% MoM to 1.07 million tons. In January-July Ukraine produced 6.83 million tons of rolled metal. (Ukrainian metal)
