In January-June Metinvest companies paid 7.4 billion UAH of taxes.
According to the group’s press-service, VAT and advance payments totaled 2.6 billion UAH, the single social payment from companies – 1.3 billion UAH, ground rent – 532 million UAH, ecological tax – 163 million UAH, etc.
The group CEO Yuri Ryzhenkov underlined, that Metinvest has always been and still remains a socially responsible company and an exemplary taxpayer.
“We work in total compliance with the Ukrainian legislation, even on the territories where the military conflict goes on. We fulfill all social obligations to our employees”, he said.
For the past 2 years Metinvest has increased salary 3 times: in 2014 – by 10% and 7%, and in 2015 – by 25%. This has also led to the increase of tax payments.
