The Ukrainian Federation of Metallurgists head Sergey Belenky said the industry didn’t see any positive changes in the tax service work that had been promoted by Roman Nasirov, the current head of the State Fiscal Service.

“We see no positive signals from SFS. Only legislation breaks, no VAT reimbursement, profit tax overpayments, etc.”, said Belenky, adding that it made the current situation of the metal industry even worse.

Nasirov admitted the existence of the mentioned problems, including the VAT reimbursement.

“Every month we have our planned limit, within which we can reimburse VAT. We can’t pay more”, said he.

According to Nasirov, the SFS has around 20 billion UAH of VAT reimbursement debt.

“That’s just the debt that is, and it grows. Why? Because in the state budget we have 58 billion UAH to cover it”, added Nasirov. (Ukrainian Metal)
