In January-May Ukraine exported 3.74 million tons of semi-finished steel products, down by 32.1% YoY, worth a total of $129.56 million, down by 47.9% YoY.
The main importers of Ukrainian semis were Egypt (27.21%), Turkey (23.49%) and Italy (19.06%) in terms of value.
From the beginning of the year Ukraine imported 3.21 tons of semi-finished steel products, down by 82.3%, worth a total of $1.41 million, down by 86.5%, all YoY.
The main supplier of semi-finished steel product imports in the given period was Russia, which supplied 84.16% of the total import volume. (Ukrainian Metal)
