Ferrexpo plc, whose main assets are Ukrainian iron ore producers Poltava and Yeristovo Mining and Processing Works (PGOK and EGOK respectively), edged commercial iron ore pellet production down by 0.16% YoY in February, to 1.875 million tons.
Iron ore concentrate production fell by 2.6%, to 2.212 million tons.
Ferrexpo produced 865,000 tons of pellets and 1.069 million tons of concentrate in February.
The London-listed Ferrexpo plc owns 100% of Ferrexpo AG, which owns 97.34% of PGOK and 100% of EGOK.
Ferrexpo is the FSU’s biggest iron ore pellet producer and exporter. The company’s main consumers are steelmakers in Austria, Serbia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Germany and other European countries, as well as China, India, Japan and other Asian countries.
