Metinvest has set up a trade representative in Spain – Metinvest Iberica. The company will be responsible for strengthening cooperation with Metinvest rolled steel consumers in Spain and Portugal and for services.
Iberian Peninsula rolled steel market is one of the key metal consuming markets in Europe. In particular, Spain holds the 4th place in Europe as the steel consumer after Germany, Italy and France.
It should be noted that Metinvest already operates a number of offices and warehouses in Europe: in Germany, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Great Britain, Romania, Bulgaria, Lithuania and the Balkans.
The group also has Metinvest Trametal and Ferriera Valsider works in Italy with joined capacity of 1.2 million tons per year, and Spartan UK in Great Britain with 200 thousand tons per year. (Ukrainian metal)
