January-August showed output increase at Zaporizhstal: pig iron – by 3.8%, steel – by 1.7% and rolled metal – by 2.6% YoY.
In the given period the works produced 2211.5 thousand tons of pig iron, 2590.7 thousand tons of steel and 2221.3 thousand tons of rolled metal.
In August Zaporizhstal produced 297.8 thousand tons of pig iron, 323.3 thousand tons of steel and 257.2 thousand tons of rolled metal.
A slight decrease in steel and rolled metal output in August as to August 2013 was due to blast furnace repairs. (Ukrainian metal)
