In May Zaporizhstal Iron and Steel Works produced 282.5 thousand tons of pig iron, 328.2 thousand tons of steel and 285 thousand tons of rolled metal, up by 22.8%, 17.4% and 14.3% YoY correspondingly.
In January-May the works produced 1408.5 thousand tons of rolled metal, up by 6% YoY.
Steel output grew by 4.1%, to 1617 thousand tons, while pig iron production went up by 5.2%, to 1373.2 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
