In 2013 the Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works named after Dzerzhinsky, a part of the Industrial Union of Donbass corporation, decreased rolled metal output by 5.7%, to 2.98 million tons, as compared with 2012.

In 2013 the works decreased steel output by 7%, to 2.931 million tons, and pig iron by 12.5%, to 2.638 million tons, all YoY.

In December 2013 the company produced 233 thousand tons of rolled metal, 223 thousand tons of steel and 200 thousand tons of pig iron.

In 2014 the works plans to produce 220 thousand tons of steel and 198 thousand tons of pig iron, for which it will need to acquire 46 thousand tons of rolled metal.

In 2012 the works increased rolled metal output by 5.1%, to 3.159 million tons, but decreased steel manufacture by 1.6%, to 3.15 million tons, pig iron production fell by 2.4%, to 3.015 million tons, while the sinter output increased by 5.8%, to 4.986 million tons, all compared with the results of 2011.
