According to the press-report, in January-October Zaporizhstal Integrated Iron and Steel Works increased pig iron output by 0.1%, to 2.684 million tons, steel – by 1.5, to 3.207 million tons, and rolled metal – by 4.5%, to 2.733 million tons, all YoY.
In October Zaporizhstal produced 281,900 tons of pig iron, 333,600 tons of steel and 291,000 tons of rolled metal. October saw a record level of thin sections (up to 2.3 mm) output – 80,1 thousand tons as compared to 60 thousand tons in October 2012. (Ukrainian metal)
