In August 2013 Ukraine’s crude steel production is expected to increase by 1.1% compared to June to 2.760 million metric tons.
According to forecasts, in August pig iron output in Ukraine will total 2.530 million metric tons, up by 5.8% compared to the June results, while Ukrainian production of rolled steel is expected to total 2.470 million metric tons, up by 4% compared to June.
In July Ukrainian companies plan to produce 2.710 million metric tons of crude steel, 2.490 million metric tons of pig iron and 2.430 million metric tons of rolled steel. (SteelGuru)
