In the January to August period of the current year Ukraine’s exports of steel products decreased by 5.3% compared to the same period of last year to 15.384 million tons. In August Ukraine’s steel product exports increased by 5.5% compared to July to 1.877 million tons.
In the first 8 months of the current year, Ukraine registered a 4.3% increase year on year in its steel product imports to 1.206 million tons. In August Ukraine’s steel product imports decreased by 12.4% compared to July to 154,600 tons. (SteelOrbis)
