According to the information from Ukraine’s Ministry of Economy, importers of steel pipes to Ukraine used 92.21% of their annual quota for imports of steel seamless casing and tubing with diameters up to 406.4 mm.
For the period from October 1, 2011 to September 30, 2012, the quota in question is 16,753 tons. Of this figure, the unused quota volume is 1,305 tons. In particular, Russia used 99.92% of its quota for exports of the mentioned products to Ukraine, Austria used 99.97% of its quota, Poland used 27.2% of its quota, Romania used 91.39% of its quota, while other countries used 77% of their quotas.
