According to the data issued by Ukraine Cabinet of Ministers, in the January-May period of the current year Ukrainian exports of semi-finished steel products decreased by 7.8% YoY to 4.409 million tons.
Meanwhile, exports of semi-finished steel products from Ukraine increased by 32.3% in May compared to April 1.187 million tons. On the other hand, in the January to May period of the current year Ukrainian imports of semi-finished steel products decreased by 10.9% YoY to 179,940 tons.
In May alone imports of semi-finished steel products to Ukraine decreased by 29.4% compared to April to 24,900 tons. (SteelOrbis)
