According to the data issued by Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers, in the January to May period of the current year Ukraine registered a 16.3% increase YoY in its long steel product imports to 164,500 tons. In May alone Ukraine’s long steel product imports increased by 17.1% MoM to 37,980 tons.
In the January to May period Ukrainian exports of long steel products increased by 1% YoY to 2.455 million tons. In May alone Ukraine’s long steel product exports decreased by 13% MoM to 455,790 tons. (SteelOrbis)
