According to the data, released by the metal trading enterprise Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Company, in January to October 2011 Ukraine’s exports of steel products rose by 0.5% YoY to 19.872 million tons.
In October alone Ukraine’s steel product exports decreased by 3.5% compared to September to 1.782 million tons.
In the first 10 months of the current year Ukraine registered an 8.8% YoY increase in its steel product imports to 1.524 million tons. In October alone Ukraine’s steel product imports increased by 3% compared to September to 186,000 tons. (SteelOrbis)
