Interpipe, the pipe and wheel producer, which is under control of EastOne, is planning to supply pipes made at Interpipe Novomoskovsky pipe plant (Dniepropetrovsk region) to Belarus.
The company said that Interpipe Novomoskovsky pipe plant passed an audit of the department for supervision of safe work in industry in Belarus.
The report said “After the audit, the plant obtained a permit to make pipes with three and two layer rust-preventive polyethylene coating and 159-530 mm in diameter and supply them to consumers in Belarus.”
According to the release, the chief state inspector of the department for supervision of safe work of gas supply and main pipelines in Belarus and the chief state expert of the examination sub-department of the department for supervision of safe work in industry conducted the audit. Representatives of the Belarusian department for the supervision of safe work in industry studied the organizational structure of Interpipe Novomoskovsky pipe plant linked to the designing and production of steel pipe with protective coating based on extruded polyethylene, and studied technical documents on the production, assembly, exploitation and repair of equipment.
The representatives also studied the production base of the plant where products for Belarus are made, and also analyzed the quality control system of materials for pipe production and the quality control system for ready-made products.
Mr. Yuriy Antipov, Board Chairman, said “Today the design of products by Interpipe Novomoskovsky pipe plant is based on the results of research, the practical experience of the company, published standards that determine the technical level and quality of products and the individual requirements of customers.
