Leading steel pipe and railway wheels maker Interpipe has supplied seamless construction pipes to Bladt (Denmark).
Bladt Industries is one of the leading manufacturers in the European market of wind turbines for offshore wind power generators. The volume of pipes supplied is 1,200 tons.
Interpipe pipes will ultimately be used for the construction of wind power stations in North West Europe.
Mr. Smal, Sales Director for Industrial Application pipes at Interpipe, said, “The use of Interpipe tubular products in the construction of wind power stations confirms the high strength characteristics of our pipes. It is not the first delivery of these products to the European market. For many years already, Interpipe has been one of the key suppliers in the market for construction and infrastructure projects. Our company provides pipe and manufacturing goods for many projects in preparation for Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine and has supplied pipes for the construction of a giant cruise ship Oasis, the Dubai metro, the airport in Abu Dhabi and for Formula 1.” (SteelGuru)
