According to the data, released by the metal trading enterprise Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Company, in the Q1 of the current year Ukrainian exports of semi-finished steel products increased by 3.2% YoY to 2.716 million tons.
In January to March Ukraine exported 1.535 million tons of slabs, up by 27.8%, while exports of square billets dropped by 18.2% to 1.167 million tons both compared to the same period last year.
Exports of semi-finished steel products from Ukraine increased by 55.3% in March compared to February, rising to 1.066 million tons. (SteelOrbis)
