The Industrial Policy Ministry announced that Ukraine boosted ferrous metal exports not including pipes by 42% in 2010 valued at $14.606 billion.
Metal product imports rose by 71.5% to $1.914 billion, pipe exports edged down from $1.399 billion in 2009 to $1.352 billion in 2010, revenue from welded pipe exports fell to $589.2 million from $908.6 million, revenue from seamless pipe exports grew from $490.1 million to $589.2 million, pipe imports grew from $78.2 million to $111.1 million.
