It is reported that in November 2010, Ukraine’s long steel product imports were down by 18% MoM, but up by 67.3% YoY totaling 32,700 tons. Of this volume, 21,940 tons came from Russia, 3,320 tons from Romania, 2,920 tons from Belarus, 1,820 tons from Poland and 770 tons were imported from China.
Ukraine’s expenditure on imports of long steel products in November was down by 14.3% MoM decreasing to $33.37 million.
In January to November 2010 Ukraine’s imports of long steel products increased by 85% YoY to 346,170 tons valued at $317.3 million. (SteelOrbis)
