It is reported that in October Ukraine’s flat steel product exports decreased by 9% MoM and by 13% YoY to 505,340 tons valued at about $323 million.
Specifically, in October Ukraine’s exports of hot-rolled steel went down by 13% MoM to 406,590 tons, of which 73,270 tons were delivered to Poland, 56,930 tons were exported to Turkey and 37,120 tons were supplied to Russia.
The country’s exports of cold-rolled steel in October decreased by about 11% compared to September, to 61,210 tons, of which 11,550 tons were delivered to Russia, 11,480 tons were shipped to Turkey and 4,960 tons were exported to Syria.
Ukraine’s October exports of other flat rolled products went up by 91% MoM to 37,540 tons, of which 29,330 tons were delivered to Russia, 3,860 tons were shipped to Belarus and 840 tons were directed to Moldova.
In January to October Ukraine’s flat steel exports increased by 9% YoY to 5.404 million tons valued at $3.12 billion. (SteelOrbis)
