Interpipe Niko Tube successfully passed the planned supervision audit of the Environmental Management System functioning at the enterprise and its accordance to the ISO 14001-2004 standard demands.
During the course of the audit independent experts of the Bureau Veritas Certification Ukraine, LLC learned the documentation that regulate the activity of enterprise in ecological sphere and checked its realization on practice. The auditors paid attention to such ecological aspects as flammable possibility in facilities, the risk of tube and mercury containing lamps depressurizing, appliance of fuel and lubricant materials in technological processes.
According to the results of the audit, independent experts proved the correspondence of the Environmental Management System at Interpipe Niko Tube to the demands of the international standard ISO 14001-2004 and gave a set of recommendations on labour and environmental protection.
Mr. Oleg Kuzmin, director for corporate affairs at Interpipe, said “Interpipe strives to use the best world practices in environmental protection and to use natural resources more efficiently. Now all production assets of the Company are certified according to the international standard ISO 14001.
