It is reported that in May 2010 Ukrainian reduced pig iron export by 78.2% MoM in comparison with April to 39630 tons.
Incomes from pig iron export dropped by 70.1% to $20.47 million. The major buyer of Ukrainian pig iron is Italy, which share in total pig iron export from Ukraine makes 16140 tons or 40.7%
In comparison with May 2009 export of pig iron dropped by 73.5%.
In January to May 2010 compared to January to May 2009 pig iron export increased by 4% to 577,000 tons for $204.99 million.
In 2009 compared to 2008 pig iron export reduced by 6.3% to 1.38 million tons for $369.12 million. (Minprom)
