According to Mr. Ruslan Mazhinsky, marketing director of the trading and distribution company Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Company, in 2010 Ukrainian consumption of rolled steel products is expected to increase by 15-16% YoY to about 5.7 million tons.
Mr. Mazhinsky said, in the first half of 2010 the Ukrainian domestic market was seeing demand growth mainly in the flat rolled segment, while the demand for construction products remained in general almost at the level of the previous year. (SteelOrbis)
