According to the information issued by the Ukrainian Ministry of Economy, as of April 1st Russia and other countries utilized 84.68% of the annual quota imposed by Ukraine for seamless casing and tubing imports with outside diameter up to 406.4 mm supplying a total of 12,896 tons.
In March Ukraine’s imports of seamless casing and tubing amounted to 605 tons.
The total quota for the period starting from October 1st 2009 through September 30th 2010 stands at 15,230 tons of seamless casing and tubing imports, up by 726 tons compared to the previous annual quota. (SteelOrbis)
