The Dniepropetrovsk Iron and Steel Works named after Petrovsky plans to ramp up production of longs by 40% in February, to 35,000 tons compared with January. The company will be able to raise its output due to higher export sales.
In particular, Petrovsky will produce about 30,000-31,000 tons of channel and 3,000 tons to 3,500 tons of angle which is almost twice as much as last month, the rest of the output will be special profiles and rails.
According to preliminary data, shipments of merchant square billet will fall by 14% MoM to 15% MoM to 46,500 tons.
In general, the company will manufacture about 80,000 tons to 81,000 tons of steel products this month in February, unchanged from last month.
In January, Petrovsky melted about 88,000 tons to 90,000 tons of crude steel and put out 80,000 tons to 81,000 tons of steel products. (MetalExpert-group)
