According to the information issued by the Ukrainian Ministry of Economy, as of February 1st 2010 Russia and other countries utilized 80.7% of the annual quota imposed by Ukraine for seamless casing and tubing imports with outside diameter of up to 406.4 mm, supplying a total of 12,291 tons.
The data indicate that in January 2010, as in December 2009, Ukraine did not import any seamless casing and tubing.
The total quota for the period starting from October 1st 2009 through September 30th 10 stands at 15,230 tons seamless casing and tubing imports up 726 tons compared to the previous annual quota. (SteelOrbis)
