In January-April Ukraine exported $947.4 million worth of iron ore raw materials, up by 85% YoY.

According to the State Fiscal Service, exports reached 12.019 million tons, down by 15.8% YoY, with the share in the total exports revenue at 6.9%.

The main buyers of Ukrainian iron ore raw materials were China (30%), Poland (10.6%) and Austria (10.4%).

Imports in January-April totaled 201.8 thousand tons valued at $21.6 million. Most imports came from Russia.

In 2016 Ukraine exported $1.8 billion worth of iron ore raw materials, down by 12.8% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
