The parliament has registered a decree to pay all debts and salaries to the state coal miners.

The document presupposes the increase of the state subvention to coal companies by 841.4 million UAH.

In January-August the Ministry of energy and coal industry mines yielded 4.3 million tons of ordinary coal, down by 24.6%, or by 1.4 million tons, from the target results, or by 25% YoY.

The share of state companies in the country coal output decreased from 20.5% in January to 14.5% in August, while that of DTEK increased from 61.4% to 67.4%, and of other private companies – by 0.4%. DTEK share in the total coal output constantly increases leading to the ever-growing dependency of the state on the company.

In October-December mining companies are expected to produce 2.7 million tons of ordinary coal and sell 1800 thousand tons worth 1780.7 million UAH. At the same time prime cost expenses would reach 2537 million UAH. Thus the uncovered loss would total the above-mentioned 841.4 million UAH. (Ukrainian metal)
