According to World Steel Dynamics Inc., two Russian companies entered TOP-5 of the most competitive steel companies of the world. 37 companies participated in the research. Severstal has received the certificate that the V550V steel for concrete reinforcement with the diameter of 10-32 mm produced by Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works meets all requirements of the Latvian state standards LVS 191-1:2012 and LVS 191-1:2012/AS:2015.
