Energomashspetsstal has successfully passed a re-certification audit of its ecological management system for the correspondence to the ISO 14001 standard. The inspection was carried out by QSCert-Ukraine B.V. The company has recommended certifying the EMSS system for three years. EMSS has been using the ISO 14001 ecology management system since 2010. Products for nuclear industry account for a major share in the Energomashspetsstal’s exports. In May, the company shipped steel billets for three nuclear power plants situated in Turkey, India and China. Deliveries included shells, flanges, pipes, bottoms and other reactor parts. The American Nucor has ordered Energomashspetsstal a batch of supporting rolls weighing 150 tons each. The corresponding contract was signed in April. The rolls have to be shipped until October 2022. This is the first cooperation of the parties. (Ukrainian metal)
Energomashspetsstal has finished repairing a hydraulic press of the forging complex in the press-forging shop. Investments in the project amounted to 2.5 million UAH. Azovstal has spent over 4 million UAH to buy a new hot metal ladle for the blast furnace shop. The ladle was produced by Energomashspetsstal. This is the second new machine in the shop this year. In January, the company commissioned the first hot metal ladle. (Ukrainian metal)
In 2020, Energomashspetsstal invested over 4 million UAH in projects connected with environment protection. For the current year the company has developed a plan of measures to protect environment and rationally use resources.
