“100 million tons of non-ferrous ore is a huge figure. Imagine 15 and a half Great pyramids or 10 thousand Eiffel Towers – that’s how much we mined”, said the open-pit mine director Alexander Fomin.
This year Gaysky GOK intends to mine 2.6 million tons of ore.
