It is reported that in January to July 2010, the Ukrainian flat steel producer Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol saw its crude steel production rise by 35%YoY to 3.103 million tonnes.
In January to July this year, Ilyich finished steel product output went up by 28.7% to 2.11 million tonnes, its pig iron production increased by 36% YoY to 2.638 million tonnes, agglomerate production grew by 45.3%YoY to 6.24 million tonnes while its steel pipe output increased by 2.4 times to 47,500 tonnes.
In July this year, Ilyich produced 420,000 tonnes of crude steel, 283,000 tonnes of finished steel products, 361,000 tonnes of pig iron, 849,000 tonnes of agglomerate and 3,900 tonnes of steel pipes. (Steelorbis.com)
