The government of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic is pondering selling coal to Europe and the Near East.

“The Ministry of coal and energy is looking for additional sales markets. We shouldn’t stick to just one partner – Ukraine. So we’re thinking about Europe and the Near East. As to selling coal to Ukraine – why not, if we can? As long as we are paid, we’re ok with this”, said the DPR head Alexander Zakharchenko.
