Ukrainian Journal reported that most of Ukraine steel majors again reduced finished roll production considerably in January to July 2009, although the decline in the industry seems to be slowing slightly.

1. ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih the country biggest steel mill reduced finished roll production tentatively by 35.5%YoY to 2.56 million tonne.
2. Azovstal reduced roll output by 37.2%YoY to 2.11 million tonnes
3. Zaporizhstal reduced it 26.5%YoY to 1.584 million tonnes
4. Illich works from Mariupol slashed output by 47.3%YoY to 1.64 million tonnes. (Ukrainian Journal)
