In January-June, Azerbaijan exported 24,231.8 kg of gold (gold in other semi-processed forms – rods, wire and profiles, plates, sheets, strips, or tapes with a thickness of over 0.15 mm, excluding any base/gold in other unprocessed forms not used for coin minting) worth $3,670,632,000.
This is 25.5 times more in value and 12.4 times more in quantity than the same period in 2025.
Azerbaijan sold 21,902 kg of gold to the UK worth $3,468,462,000, and 2,329.8 kg (+18.9%) to Switzerland worth $202,169,000 (+40.4%).
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 91.5 kg (-99.7%) of gold worth $15,270,000 (-99.5%).
Azerbaijan purchased 72.4 kg (-93.5%) of gold from Turkey worth $12,405,000 (-87.5%), 19 kg (-98.7%) from Switzerland worth $2,785,000 (-98%), and 0.1 kg from the United Arab Emirates worth $80,000 (no deliveries a year earlier).
Last year, Azerbaijan sold gold only to Switzerland. 4,522 kg of gold worth $326.2 million were delivered to this country, which is 6% and 54% more than the previous year, respectively. (Report)
