The restrictions are temporary and will remain in effect for six months, the Cabinet of Ministers has announced.
The ban applies to products with the following HS codes:
– 2701 — Hard coal, as well as briquettes, pellets, and similar solid fuels obtained from it.
– 2702 — Lignite, or brown coal (agglomerated or non-agglomerated, excluding jet).
The exception is exports through the Irkeshtam and Torugart checkpoints on the border with China.
The restriction was initially introduced in October 2022 and had subsequently been extended several times. (Logistan)
